Mohenjodaro & Greek
The British judge, William Jones in 1780 tried to find the relation between Greek - Latin and Sanskrit. The rare silver coins of Macedonia (Catalogue The First Portion of Greek Roman and Foreign Medieval coins & Medals, Thomas - Thomas - 1843 ) was published very late after the death of William Jones. His admiration for the affinity with Greek and Sanskrit forced him to think about the proto-Indo-European concept. Maxmuller, without verifying the data, also forced himself to carried away with the admiration of William Jones and approved the concept of the proto-Indo-European, which later on become the adventure point of entry of Sanskrit speaking people from the Western Asia to India.
