'Rasa' is a synonym for mercury. The ancient Indian healers, had knowledge that the mercury had an ability to both kill and cure. In the Caraka Saṃhitā, it hold an important medicinal drug, which is seen in the Mohenjodaro with frequent Rigvedic practice.

This is a very old but tested formula to rule any nation.  Remember what Henry Kissinger said at the time of the Turkish invasion in Cyprus, while addressing a group of Washington, D.C. businessmen in Sept.1974.
